Storm Water Compliance Assistance Program
Most all facilities that are required to have a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan are required to abide by certain Numeric Effluent Limits (NELs), with the exception of some states who do not require NELs by all industries (i.e. Ohio). However, the State of Texas does require monitoring at least once a year for twelve metals known as the Numeric Effluent Limits for the Texas Pollution Discharge Elimination System.
This requires an annual analysis (in Texas and most states) of these metals. The limits vary from state to state, but almost all who are required to test for them, must report the findings to the governing regulatory authority (the TCEQ in Texas).
EcoServe Environmental Consulting Corp. provides sampling, analysis, and reporting services via Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR) and will assist any facility in the event of an exceedance, which is considered a permit violation in the State of Texas.
